December 7, 2009
Well, I survived Thanksgiving without gaining any weight!! In fact, two days ago the scale showed the lowest reading to date. I am down 1 - 2 pounds from my last HCG diet days weight. I am excited about that.I am finding that my appetite has changed and my cravings have changed. I am so much more aware of what goes in my body and I'm hoping it will be a lifetime change. Last night I ordered my HCG for January. It takes about 3 to 4 weeks to receive it. I'm planning to start on Jan. 2nd if I receive it in time. That's all for now-Merry Christmas everybody.

November 20, Day 12 phase 3
Everything is still going well on phase 3. They say you may lose inches and not weight. I may have done that some. I kept meticulous records on my weight through all this but not my measurements. I will definitely measure the next round of phase 1 & 2. I weighed on Grandma's scale today and it was 2 pounds lighter than mine. I would like to go with her scale but I better stick with the digital one. I am finding that I'm not really very hungry ever. So that's a good thing. I'm going to the movies tonight to see Twilight and I'm going to have some popcorn. Illegal I know, but I ate really light today. An apple for breakfast and a piece of roasted chicken for lunch. That's it. What I'm missing most is something to drink. It seems my only choice is diet soda and it has aspertame or water. I would like some milk too. But is has sugar. I wish someone would make a diet drink with Stevia at least. Oh well, off to the movies!!!!

November 18, 2009 Day 10 phase 3
This morning I showed a 1 pound loss making me lower than I've ever shown on the scale. This is very exciting. I'm hoping my body really is re-setting itself. I have been eating either eggs or cottage cheese for breakfast. Yesterday I got one grilled chicken breast from KFC for lunch and then had grilled hamburger patty and brocolli for dinner. I also made some cream cheese muffins that taste like little cheesecakes. They are made with cream cheese, stevia, & vanilla. Oh so good. It is nice to have a little treat that tastes good.

November 16, 2009 Day 8 phase 3
Well, I'm excited that I was able to go out of town and still stay within my weight limit. We spent the week-end in Nashville and went out to eat at O'Charley's. I ordered a salad, broccoli and small steak. The rolls were hard to stay away from and I had 1/2 of one. They are so good. On Sunday we had Petros, but took some chili out before the beans were added. That was really good with cheese and sour cream. I had also brought nuts and sugar free candy for the ride for snacks. So I guess what I'm saying is it is possible to get through a restricted regimin if you think ahead and make the right choices. I feel good about that.

November 13, 2009 Day 5 phase 3
So far this phase is really enjoyable. My weight this morning is as low as it's been. That is so cool especially when eating more food. Actually, I've noticed that I have not been very hungry this week and have just eaten to keep from getting too hungry. I've had a lot of protein and vegetables. I've had diet drinks several times. That is what a miss the most- something to drink besides water. I wish I could drink milk. I think I need to find out how many grams of sugar is in skim milk and maybe I could have some of that. Yesterday I made pumpkin cookies for Relief Society. I decided to make half the recipe sugar free. I used truvia for the sugar, coconut oil instead of vegetable oil, sugar-free chocolate chips and almond flour ( I don't think it's considered a starch). They were delicious and seemed like a real treat. The other thing I still miss is cereal (Todd could not do this diet!!)ha-ha. I'm having eggs or cottage cheese for breakfast. I could have bacon & sausage but that just doesn't sound good to me. So I am really feeling great and so excited that my weight has seemed to stabilize somewhat and even gone down a few ounces.

November 11, 2009 day 3 phase 3
So I miss not blogging my journey. So I thought I would write a few things if only for me to look back on. Yesterday I had some cottage cheese for breakfast and strawberries. For lunch I had a lean cuisine with beef and brocolli and last night we went to Ruby Tuesdays. We haven't been out hardly at all the past 4 weeks. The salad bar really tasted good. I brought my own dressing in my purse. The bleau cheese that I had said only 1 gram of sugar. I didn't use much and I'm not sure if that was OK or not. I also had some of Greg's steak. I'm still enjoying the fudge I made. I add some almonds to it for dessert. Now, tonight I made pizza with egg plant. I sliced the eggplant into 1/2 inch slices and laid them in a pan with a little olive oil. Then I put a little sauce, olives and cheese on top. I cooked it about 15 minutes in the oven at the same time Greg's pizza was cooking. It was really pretty good. You could barely taste the eggplant which really doesn't taste much anyway. So thats a pretty good way to enjoy mozarella and pizza sauce. I could have had all the pizza toppings if I had wanted them. For lunch I had some teriyaki chicken and chinese vegetables at the mall. That probably had sugar in the sauce, but I didn't get extra sauce and I didn't get the rice. So far this is a lot easier than I thought it would be. So far I'm the same weight too.

November 10, 2009 Day 2 phase 3
So yesterday was my first day of eating whatever I wanted minus starches and sugar. It was weird. I had two fried eggs in a little butter for breakfast and then went out to run several errands. In the grocery store I bought some chicken salad and ate that for lunch. That was really good. For dinner I had a grilled pork chop and some brocolli & cauliflower with a little cheese on it. I also made some HCG legal fudge with cream cheese, unsweetened chocolate, & stevia. It was a good treat with some almonds. So I think it was a good day. This morning I weighed a few ounces less than my final weight from phase 2. On this phase you are not suppose to lose more than 2 pounds. It is a time when you are resetting your metabolism. You are also not suppose to gain more than 2 pounds without doing a correction day which is eating nothing all day and then a steak and an apple for dinner. You can begin to exercise again. I'm hoping I will do well on this phase because it is as important as the other phases as far as stabilizing your weight goes. I will not post everyday from now on since there won't be much to report on. For now see ya!
